Everyone would love to open up drawings of their characters on Christmas day, even if you don't celebrate Christmas

Still going through and responding to comments from my last journal (I'm getting back to all who replied).
But now, this is the IMPORTANT question.

Do any of your chaaracters have tattoos? Where are they? What are they of? How many are there, or are there so many merging together that they all just become one huge one? Is there a story behind it?

I love animals. Even if the are fictional.
Do any of your characters have pets?
If so, what kinds of pets are they, and do they have names?

I know I've been terrible about updating DA lately, mostly because I've been busy and have not been working on character work too much. However, I've recently dedicated specific days to myself and my own stuff, so I'll be updating again soon, though updates will still be pretty few and far because I've been wanting to really increase the quality of my submissions and my personal projects. So on DA, I'll probably be updating art once monthly now that I've got a system going.

I am however always sketching and playing around in different programs, and reworking old things, so I made a sketch blog yesterday for that purpose, if any of you are interested. Older stuff will go on there that I never posted here, or was posted here but was deleted, but everything will mostly be new and current projects in the form of sketches, works in progress, completed pieces, reworks, and maybe a couple of progress shots and time lapse videos.

There will be some music/quotes/videos/images floating around there every once in a while too, as certain drawings are oftentimes directly related to songs, and I like to hold onto things and remember things that trigger an idea, but the number will be small. No life updates will be included in this, and I plan on getting something up there on a daily basis.

Specific books. Why can I not find the zhaoming wu charcoal portrait books that I want ANYWHERE!? Not even ebay. I'm going to have to search used bookstores. Or possibly China. I want these books. Badly. This man's portrait and charcoal work is amazing. Granted, his figure painting work is insane too, but figure painting's never done it for me. Maybe because I myself don't like the process of it.

In other news, if you haven't noticed, I haven't been uploading much. I've been busy, and it will probably be like this for a while until I get a little bit more organized with my time. I'm drawing lots, but it's focused on other things, rather than the stuff I post in my DA gallery, which is why you don't see it here. And I'm not going to post it here, because I like galleries to match. I'm OCD about it. But I was thinking maybe I'll update other stuff to livejournal.

I'll upload again promise. In the near future... but as of now I'm getting back into life studies and doing school work, so I haven't figured out how I want to organize my time yet. But I will know, soon. Just putting emphasis on my inactivity on this site lately.. maybe that's not a good thing to put emphasis on.
